PROTECT YOUR HEARING

Exposure to loud noise is the most common cause of hearing loss. Remember these three rules when exposed to loud noise:

1. Move or walk away, if you can.

2. Turn it down, if you can.

3. Protect your hearing with ear plugs or ear muffs.

If someone forgets to utilize applicable hearing protection, you be may be inclined to remind them "IT'S STONEJAX O'CLOCK!"

COVID-19 RESOURCES

COVID-19 has helped expand the scope of hearingisfun.com to include information intended to take some of the mystery out of the Covid experience and potentially help people cope with Covid-related psychosis.

Q: IS CET (COVID EARLY TREATMENT THEORY) REAL?

A: YES.

CET (COVID Early Treatment) Theory is an elementary level concept intended for people who do not have a doctor to consult about Covid treatment. Ideally, CET Theory will resonate with stakeholders in the news and information industry, such as television, newspaper, radio, internet, etc. Please consider sharing this information with others in general and specifically with news and information contacts.

MAKING HEARING AIDS FUN AGAIN: 'THE JOURNEY'

hearingisfun.com aspires to encourage children and adults to protect their hearing. And, to take some of the mystery out of hearing healthcare solutions.

We should all make an effort to protect our hearing. And, we should not be shocked if someone we love needs help optimizing their hearing.

Learning about hearing solutions can be a journey …except at some point the journey gets overwhelming, long, boring and quasi-unbearable and the traveler says, “Good grief! I just want to hear better!”

Hearingisfun.com will introduce viewers to important hearing health information related to hearing aids via a series of audio-videos called 'the journey.' We hope you and your loved ones will appreciate our presentation model and perspective.

We will reinforce a key to hearing satisfaction with hearing aids: your hearing professional. We will provide contact information for outstanding hearing professionals who understand you are not intrigued by bullshinto. Please consider bookmarking this web page because you just may need it about the time its complete.

And, just so you know, there is HEARING IS FUN APPAREL.

Important topics and information for potential hearing aid users and their loved ones:

TOPIC: WHO IS THE CREATOR OF HEARINGISFUN.COM AND WHY WOULD ONE LISTEN TO THEM? URL link to video: coming soon
Notes: "I am going to try to take some of the mystery out of purchasing hearing aids from a qualified hearing professional. I do not have any audiological or medical licenses, which may have an appeal regarding bias. I will touch on that later."

No harm no foul if you are inclined to dismiss the information I provide or my approach and walk away. I’m at peace with your peace…

I have worked in the hearing industry many years, across many states, interacting with many hearing professionals and stakeholders, including many hearing aid users and potential users… and I feel confident about providing tangible, helpful, useful information related to the one's clarity and confidence regarding hearing aids or at the very least, the decision of making an appointment with a hearing professional for a hearing evaluation.

The approach will be to map out important information one should know when seeking a hearing solution. I invite licensed, hearing professionals (of whom I know plenty) to reinforce and expand on applicable topics. It will be fun because hearing is fun. The result will be simple, real, easy, basic audio/videos.

Budget disclaimer: There are budgets, there are low budgets and there are no budgets. Please be prepared to continue in a low budget realm of production value. Donations and sponsorships are welcomed. It does not cost very much to create these educational videos. Please check back in from time to time to see how hearingisfun.com content is developing. There is PLENTY of beautiful hearing aid information already out there to be enjoyed in the mean time.

TOPIC: YOUR HEARING PROFESSIONAL. URL link to video: coming soon

"One is better off with an outstanding hearing professional and 'average/sub-par' hearing aid technology…versus an 'average/sub-par' hearing professional and the most 'outstanding/best’ hearing aid technology. There is so much more to say about how and why your hearing professional is particularly important. And, I will map that out in this video..."

I believe it is appropriate to note that a hearing aid education 'journey' has different paths, which can seem more like loops.

The first important topic, 'YOUR HEARING PROFESSIONAL' become Path 1 or Loop 1. Rarely, will one stop seeking clarity after Path 1. Nonetheless, I am inclined to point out that often, one circles back to Path 1.

The next 7 or 8 important topics [MAPPED OUT BELOW] combined become Path 2 or Loop 2. Ultimately, one seeking information, facts and clarity regarding hearing aids may arrive at a point where they say (or shout), "I JUST want to hear better! …meaning I want to talk with and understand the people talking to me, particularly in noisy environments. If there is not something I can buy from a store or a website, then I would like to visit with someone who knows what they are doing, is affordable, is trustworthy and available to help me.”

Important topics 9 thru 99 [TO BE MAPPED OUT BELOW OVER TIME] combined may become Path 3 or Loop 3 and represent a mega-load of information. Over time, hearingisfun.com will aspire to note/expand/video the important topics beyond 6 or 7 all the way to 99. Every topic is useful and important for particular situations and people. I have found that some people have a particular burning question or topic that needs to be addressed and answered before they are inclined to trust/value other information.

For many people, more hearing aid information is better than a single concept, up to a threshold. I’ve enjoyed enough hearing aid related seminars and presentations, that, on behalf of prospective hearing aid users, there is a point when the information is overwhelming, over-boring, over-board to the point one is inclined to shut down, give up, throw their hands up and say, "good grief."
